After nearly 3 inches of rain and temperatures of 60 degrees, our local river went into flood stage. We decided to go to Providence Dam in Grand Rapids, Ohio and film some of the flooding. This is Part one.

Traveling East along I-94 in Wisconsin between Meononie and Eau Claire brought down freezing rain to sleet to heavy snow back to freezing rain and sleet. It took us over 3 1/2 hours to travel from Little Canada, MN to Eau Claire, WI, which is about 80 miles apart. Highway speeds was at 35mph at times.

After the gust front came thru we were treated with this nice shower. I think the camcorder showed this beautifully. Hope you enjoy

The only real good "storm" of the day came around 3pm. It dropped about half an inch in 30 minutes. Some lighting and thunder accompanied the storm. Brief rain gust of 30mph was also measured.

This is just a brief clip of the rain.....enjoy...

More of the flooding. We also went downstream, where the waters were a little "calmer"

Slight risk for severe today. No watches or warnings were up. A lone thunderstorm developed in the Toledo area. The storm did begin to rotate and this was verified on radar. It dropped a wall cloud over the city. Teresa was in Northwood and captured this unexpected event on her cell phone. Amazing day

We didn't go out chasing this night, instead we decided to film out the porch on a storm that was in Wood County near Bowling Green (30 miles away).

It had some good intra-cloud lighting. The following video is sped up 500%.
